Welcome to the Elite Training Centre
To date, there has been a gap between professional clubs (Academies/Development Centres) and grassroots football. Talented players either leaving professional clubs or trying to make the step up found themselves in a void where opportunities to develop and progress were limited.
The Elite Training Centre (ETC) is a football development scheme that has been set up to offer players such as these the opportunity to continue their football development through professional coaching and competitive matches. The ETC is specifically designed for committed players who want to develop and aspire to make the step from grassroots football with schemes for Under 8's and 9's Development, Under 10's and 11's plus Under 12's and 13's.
Gifted players are often overlooked and cast aside without being given the chance to demonstrate their ability and achieve their full potential. With key contacts in professional clubs, we are able to ensure that every player at the ETC will be recommended, when ready and on merit, for a trial placement.
We see player development as paramount and, through our unique coaching programmes, believe every player will benefit from being a part of the ETC, irrespective of whether or not they progress into a professional club. [...]
